Abstract

Malang Regency is the second largest regency in Java after Banyuwangi Regency. Administratively, Malang Regency is divided into 33 Districts. The administrative center of Malang Regency is located in Kepanjen District, which makes it the area with the most dense traffic. One of the impacts of heavy traffic is noise, noise can cause disturbances to human health and environmental comfort, moreover Kepanjen District has several hospitals that are in direct contact with roads that have heavy traffic. This study aims to determine the relationship between vehicle volume and noise due to the influence of traffic on the road in front of the hospital. Wava Husada, RS. Hasta Husada, and Kanjuruhan Hospital. This study uses a Geographic Information System tool to display thematic maps in terms of mapping. At RS. Wava Husada obtained the highest traffic volume of 1426 cur/hour, the highest noise level of 84.60 dBA in the afternoon, multiple linear regression calculations obtained the highest R2 value of 0.945. At RS. Hasta Husada obtained the highest traffic volume of 395.1 cur/hour, the highest noise level of 73.77 dBA in the morning, the multiple linear regression calculation obtained the highest R2 value of 0.938. At Kanjuruhan Hospital, the highest traffic volume was 1047.8 hours/hour, the highest noise level was 84.49 dBA in the morning, the multiple linear regression calculation obtained the highest R2 value of 0.929. This research is expected to be useful for civil engineering studies, especially for construction service providers in carrying out road planning work.
