Abstract
In the current era of technological advancements, social media has become an important source of information. Twitter, as one of the social media platforms, is widely used by people to search for various types of information. Along with this, there is a feature called Mention Confess (Menfess) developed by the Twitter account @biolbe. The Menfess feature allows users to share information or express their thoughts anonymously. On Twitter, there is also the @englishfess_ account, which has one of the largest numbers of followers in Indonesia and utilizes the Autobase feature to manage its Menfess feature. @englishfess_ is an autobase dedicated to sharing information related to English language learning, including grammar, vocabulary, as well as tips and strategies for learning English. This research will utilize the Search Information Process (SIP) theory. In collecting the data, the researcher employs a descriptive qualitative methodology. The results of this study will demonstrate the information-seeking behavior of @englishfess_ followers in meeting their English language learning information needs. It will provide insights into the followers' information needs, motivations, habits, and challenges they encounter. Keywords: Social Media, Twitter, Information Needs, Information Seeking Behavior
