Abstract

The heart organ is a contracting muscle organ responsible for pumping blood throughout the body. The heart is located in the chest and is protected by ribs and covered by a thin membrane called the pericardium. The heart consists of four chambers, namely two atria (right and left atria) and two ventricles (right and left ventricles). The atria are small chambers that function as the initial pump that pushes blood into the ventricles. The ventricles are the larger and stronger chambers responsible for pumping blood out of the heart to the rest of the body. The basic concept of the heart organ is a vital organ that is important in maintaining human survival. Due to the importance of the heart's function, maintaining a healthy heart is essential to prevent various types of cardiovascular diseases that can negatively affect a person's health and quality of life. The results of analyzing the state of the heart from video echocardiography depend on the accuracy and experience of the doctor. So it allows differences in analysis results from each doctor and it is difficult to determine the actual state of the heart. From this problem, a new solution is needed to help doctors in analyzing heart movements. In improving image quality using median filtering and bilateral filtering methods, while for segmentation using thresholding. The expected output is the improvement of echocardiographic images, where by going through the stages to find out the best image enhancement.
