Abstract
powder plant production line at PT. Malidas Sterilindo, owns few work stations, namely a total of 3 work stations with work elements as many as 17. Total production time for 67.6 minutes and the maximum duration of being at the mixing workstation is 29.03 minute. Idle time occurs at station 2 Filling and Packing for 10 minutes it happened because it was waiting for the process homogeneity at the Mixing station which takes 20-25 minutes. By performing a production line balancing analysis is obtained the calculation of the minimum number of work stations is 2 stations,but for the reduction of stations on the company is not possible applied. Percentage of waiting time delay time (balance delay) that is equal to 22.37%. Smoothness Index measure the relative waiting time of an assembly line of 13.97. The percentage effectiveness of the overall work station is more than 50%. 77.62% which shows the track is in good conditioneven if it looks unbalanced.
