Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the quality control process and to analyze the application of the Statistical Process Control (SPC) method to packaging quality at PT Madurasa Unggulan Nusantara. Data were collected using interviews, literature study and documentation. The analytical methods used were descriptive analysis and Statistical Process Control (SPC) analysis. The results showed that the implementation of quality control carried out by PT Madurasa Unggulan Nusantara was carried out at every stage of the production process. The implementation results of applying the Statistical Process Control (SPC) method are that there are still product quality that are outside the control limits. There are still many points that are outside the upper control limits (UCL). Factors that cause damage to the filling process resulting in damage to the bottle and PET bottle caps namely materials, machines, people and method
