Abstract
The rapid development of information and communication technology has had a significant impact on various fields of life, including in the field of sports. Banyu Pratama Swimming Club is a swimming association located in Cilacap Regency, precisely in the Banyu Pramata swimming pool. In managing the Banyu Pratama Swimming Club, data collection and student registration are done manually. This process is not effective because the physical documentation is often confused and information about new students is unclear. Banyu Pratama Swimming Club classifies students based on the abilities of these students. There are three classes with different schedules, coaches, training portions and monthly fees. The achievement class is intended for advanced students with achievement orientation, the semi-achievement class is intended for students who are advanced enough but have not been able to take part in the achievement program, then the beginner class is intended for students who are just learning to swim. The determination of this classification is based on the coach's objective assessment so that sometimes there are errors in judgment which result in new students receiving losses both in terms of training portion and the amount of monthly contributions. In this research an information system was created for the Banyu Pratama Swimming Club with class classifications for new registrations. Class classification is done using a decision tree algorithm (C4.5). Attributes in determining the class include the length of practice, the number of achievements, the speed of the 50m freestyle, the style mastered, and the distance of practice. Each attribute has 3 values which are presented in the form of a questionnaire in class classification on new registrations. From the results of this study class classification was carried out using the decision tree algorithm (C4.5) to obtain confusion matrix test results for an accuracy of 93.33333333, a precision of 93.63636364, and a recall of 90.3030303. This indicates that the decision tree algorithm model (C4.5) can be used for class classification at the Banyu Pratama Swimming Club. The Banyu Pratama Swimming Club information system can function according to the needs analysis that was carried out previously.
