Abstract
Achmad Siddiq Annur and Andi Baso Mappaturi (2012) explain that Islamic boarding school educational institutions are growing rapidly in Indonesia along with scientific developments taught in it. Cottage Islamic boarding schools first developed within mosques until today. Mosques in Indonesia are so relevant to Islamic architecture that they are cottages. Islamic boarding schools are also equipped with elements of Islamic architecture (Aisyah N. Handryant, 2010). Islamic boarding schools also play an important role in national development. Bekasi Regency is one of the districts that has an area industry that wide enough, so that the majority of the population work as laborers. Therefore, these workers have a high dependence on these industrial companies. Poverty rate in Bekasi Regency tends to increase from 2014 to 2021. This is caused by dependence of the population of Bekasi Regency, the majority of whom work as workers for these industrial companies. Entrepreneurship education is needed in order to give birth to the new entrepreneurs so that they can open jobs and improve the economy in Bekasi Regency. Therefore, design Entrepreneur Islamic Boarding School in Bekasi Regency. In the design of the Entrepreneur Islamic Boarding School, the entrepreneur boarding school uses a pragmatic design method. Matter this is done to apply the values of Islamic architecture into the Entrepreneur Islamic Boarding School in Bekasi Regency. Keywords: entrepreneur; Islamic architecture; Islamic boarding school
