Abstract

This article analyses the Australian government's efforts to strengthen cybersecurity through cyber diplomacy with Indonesia. This article applies qualitative descriptive methods. Data sources used in the form of journals, books, research reports, and electronic media related to research. This article will discuss the implementation of Australia's cyber diplomacy with Indonesia using the concept of cybersecurity and cyber diplomacy in an effort to strengthen cybersecurity. Based on the concept of cybersecurity where international cooperation is needed, Australia conducts cyber diplomacy with Indonesia to improve its cybersecurity, in this diplomacy Australia conducts a capacity building strategy based on Australia's International Cyber Engagement Strategy 2017 policy to create cybersecurity which is strong for Indonesia which will also have an impact on improving Australia's cybersecurity due to the nature of cyber. Australia's capacity building for Indonesia is divided through several cooperation programs, namely Cyber Policy Dialogue and Cyber Bootcamp This research is interesting to examine because Australia and Indonesia themselves have been involved in cyber wars and both countries have re-started cyber-related diplomacy.
