Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Philippines' ECPAT efforts in addressing crimes of online commercial sexual exploitation of children in the Philippines. Through its efforts such as social campaigns, education, and advocacy, none other aims to provide insight and knowledge to the public will the harm or impact of this online commercial sexual exploitation of children. Method the research used is qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques with collection of literature study data that discusses ECPAT efforts in addressing the commercial sexual exploitation of children. The results of this study that can be concluded are the efforts of ECPAT to spread knowledge and awareness to society, educate society to law enforcement, as well as advocacy to the Government of the Philippines. The responsibility of all actors is the key to the success of the effort if the actors can create a safe environment for children then it can reduce the number of crimes of commercial sexual exploitation of children. this issue important because the Philippines is a country with a number of exploitation crimes child sexuality which was quite high even before the COVID 19 pandemic.
