Abstract
B3 waste is a type of waste that can have a negative impact on human health and the environment if not managed properly. Hazardous and Toxic Waste (B3) can cause environmental pollution and damage if it is disposed of directly into the environment. To avoid the impact of B3 waste, an integrated and sustainable management system is needed. The hazardous waste generated at the office has been managed, but various improvements still need to be made in accordance with applicable regulations. Management of B3 waste is part of efforts to realize sustainable development with an environmental perspective. One of the efforts that can be made to improve waste management at the office is by planning and managing temporary storage areas (TPS) for B3 waste in accordance with applicable regulations. This plan consists of 2 rooms, namely medical waste room and solid and liquid waste room. The building area of the TPS for B3 waste is 18.10 m2 with dimensions of 4.96 m x 3.65 m. The management of B3 waste includes packaging, storage and transportation systems that have been adjusted to the applicable regulations.
