Abstract

Communication is a important part of human life. Communication has a function to socialize between humans with the other. In modern era, communication can doing very easily. The many developments of the era that present social media, sophisticated communication tools, make everyone able to communicate quickly. In today's advanced era, health communication can be obtained easily and quickly. Every human being can even communicate with doctors online and get health information online. The high cases of covid 19 in Indonesia during 2020-2021 attracted the attention of the whole world. The whole community needs a lot of information about health, especially about Covid-19. Alodokter as a health platform that utilizes Instagram social media, is here to provide various health information that is happening quickly and effectively. With the Alodokter application, researchers want to know whether the content provided to the public regarding Covid-19 is appropriate and accurate. This study used a qualitative method using a content analysis approach. The content analysis used is content from Instagram @Alodokter by paying attention to feed and caption uploads. The results of this study show that almost all of @Alodokter's content meets the criteria for good content. It's just that there is some content that has no clear source written down, so that it affects the accuracy of health information that will be shared and provided to the public.
