Abstract
Domestic conflicts in modern era are caused by many things. Domestic conflict can have a fatal impact, namely divorce. The film Noktah Merah Marriage telling about a household relationship in which a lot of outsiders intervene and poor communication. One of the problems caused by external factors is that the relationship between husband and wife is not harmonious. External factors such as: bad communication, interference from in-laws, the presence of a third person. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method, using in-depth interview data collection, using reception analysis theory because you want to examine the reception of the message conveyed by the film “Noktah Merah Perkawinan”. The results of the research found that the cases that occurred in the film Noktah Merah Marriage, the problems that occurred were caused by the interference of in-laws and the existence of communication that was never finished so that it ended with a third person who made one party comfortable. In a marriage relationship, if communication is unhealthy and often causes conflict, it will have an impact on many things. There are children who are victims, couples who feel uncomfortable and broken trust between each other. In general, the position of the audience who watched the film Noktah Merah Marriage agrees that an unhealthy communication scene will damage the entire household relationship. Even the presence of arguments from outsiders needs to be discussed and solutions sought. Because a harmonious family begins with healthy and open communication between husband and wife.
