Abstract

ABSTRACT. Media development is a necessity in the digital era. Its role is very impactful in the formation of perceptions on various aspects in society. Both traditional media and electronic media, both are tools that play a dominant role in forming a prejudice in society, especially at this time. Media is the main means of mass communication (broadcasting, publishing, and the Internet) which is collective in nature. If summarized, the development of communication media can be divided into four eras, namely the era of written communication, print communication, telecommunications, and interactive communication. Today's marketing communications can be done anywhere and anytime due to technological advances such as the example of social media. In this study the researcher aims to determine the marketing communication strategy of Bajay Audio & Lighting through the TikTok application, in this study using new media theory. The method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. The results in this study are that Bajay Audio & Lighting chooses social media TikTok as the main marketing tool on social media. This is due to the increasing number of TikTok social media users and in line with Bajay Audio & Lighting's marketing targets.
