Abstract
ANALYSIS OF FRAMING PROVISION OF CONTROVERSIAL PIDATO GOVERNOR DKI JAKARTA ANIES BASWEDAN (Study of Framing Analysis News Controversial Speech of Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan On Online News Site Detik.com And Tempo.co Period 17-19 October 2017). This research is based on news of the prime speech of Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan which is considered controversial with the indigenous issue. This study illustrates how Detik.com and Tempo.co framed coverage of Anies Baswedan's controversial speech. This study aims to determine the development of the controversial speech coverage Anies Baswedan October 17 to October 19, 2017 at Detik.com and Tempo.co. This research method using qualitative descriptive method with research method framing analysis model Robert N. Entman. The results of this study indicate that Detik.com and Tempo.co built the news controversial speech Anies baswedan 17-19 October 2017 from the political side. So realize or do not know the series of information submitted can affect the mindset of the reader. Keywords: framing, online media, Anies Baswedan's speech
