Abstract

Shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.) are one of the horticultural plants that function as natural antioxidants. The productivity of shallot plants in Indonesia is categorized as low. This is influenced by various aspects, one of which is due to the attack of soil-borne pathogens, namely Fusarium oxysporum. Symptoms of attack by Fusarium oxysporum pathogens are yellowing or pale green leaf color and elongated growth. Severe infestation leads to death of the plant. One of the efforts to control Fusarium wilt disease is by applying biopesticides and balanced fertilization. This study aims to reduce and control the attack of Fusarium wilt disease. The research method used is the Divided Plot Design method which is divided into 2 factors with the main plot, namely application to plants (P) which consists of two levels, namely fungicide application (P0) and Fobio application (P1) and sub plot, namely application to soil (M) which consists of three levels, namely control (chemical fertilizer) (M0), chicken manure (M1), and Shibio organic fertilizer (M2). The results of the observation of each treatment will be analyzed using a type analysis (ANOVA). If each treatment shows significantly different results, it will be continued with the DMRT experiment with a level of α = 5%. The results of this study, the main plot treatment, namely Fobio application (P1) showed an incubation period of 29 days and an average disease attack intensity of 4.2%. Subplot treatment, namely a type of organic fertilizer (M), is unable to suppress the intensity of the attack and slow down the incubation period of Fusarium sp. on onion plants. There was no interaction between the mainplot and subplot treatment on all observation parameters.
