Abstract

Apart from having to take into account system failure factors, scalability security, a good network also takes into account the quality or guarantee of the services provided to users or clients, the network must not only be 100% connected but must also be 100% guaranteed. One practical and appropriate solution that can be applied to overcome the above problems is to distribute the workload (Load Balancing). Load Balancing with the Peer Connection Clasifier (PCC) is a method that can be used in Load Balancing, with PCC it can be used to group connection traffic through the router into several groups, so that the router will know the gateway path that was passed at the beginning of the connection traffic and on packets the next packet that is still related to the initial connection will be passed on the same gateway path as well. The PCC method is quite effective for dividing the load evenly, as evidenced by the load testing using Jmeter 1000 users handled by two ISPs getting an average error value of 2.64%, whereas without the PCC method with one ISP getting an average error value of 24, 80% with the same number of users.
