Abstract
The East Java Provincial Research and Development Agency is a regional technical institution that implements it functional tasks regarding research and development in the East Java Provincial Government. Currently available problems in the library of the East Java Provincial Research and Development Agency, as is well known. Libraries generally have information stored in physical form, but with technological developments, these data can be made digital. Which is where it becomes easily accessible to anyone, especially for students who are located far from the reach of a physical library. Therefore, a Web-Based Online Library Information System Using the CodeIgniter Framework was built at the Research and Development Agency of East Java Province. Data collection was carried out by studying the literature and conducting interviews with related parties in the users of this system. System design uses UML and database design uses Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) and is built using the PHP programming language, PHP CodeIgniter Framework and MySQL database. The result of this design is a Web-Based Online Library Information System Using the CodeIgniter Framework at the Research and Development Agency of East Java Province. With this system is expected to be able help share the needs of users to search for books and read books.
