Abstract
PT. Al-Yaubi is an organization / company engaged in the sale of domestic tickets. Companies located on Jl. Kedinding Lor No. 100 has been established since 1999. As a company engaged in the sale of tickets for various transportation. In practice, PT Al-Yaubi is not only engaged in ticket sales, but also operates in the sales of basic necessities such as food, beverages, ATK, etc. So far, these sales activities have been carried out manually, where every incoming transaction is still recorded in a book. This can increase risks such as damaged, torn and even lost books which can hinder future transaction processes. Therefore, we need a system that can be used to record daily transactions in the business, thereby reducing the risks involved. In line with the development of information and communication technology, a Point of Sales was built at PT. Al-Yaubi. Data collection was carried out by studying the literature and conducting interviews with related parties in the development of this system. System design using UML and database design using Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD). The system was built using the PHP programming language using a PHP-based framework that is widely used, namely CodeIgniter (CI), and the database used is MySQL. The result of this design is a web-based Point of Sales for PT. AlYaubi, with the function of recording ongoing operational sales transactions, managing goods data, and reporting transaction data per day, per month and also per year.
