Abstract
A common problem in Indonesia regarding a serious moral crisis is the loss of one's etiquette towards the environment. Avoidance of crime cases and character crises can be minimized with early education. Courtesy education with the application of hadiths and prayers can overcome these problems. However, courtesy education is a challenge for everyone because of the lack of learning media that are in accordance with the character of early childhood so that it is felt that it is still not optimal in its delivery. This is what prompted the author to design a picture story book about "Hadith and Prayer" in the daily life of a Muslim. The research method used is quantitative with data collection techniques through distributing questionnaires to related parties such as the target audience (children aged 6-8 years), parents, and educators. There are several additional studies to support research, namely by means of interviews and observations as well as several literature studies such as journal articles and mass media. From the results of the research, a concept was obtained, namely a printed book that contains content about hadith and prayer and is packaged in daily stories that are closely related to children's lives. There are illustrations that make it easier for children to imagine and the use of language and fonts is also adapted to children's reading abilities. The main purpose of this design is to develop and create children's minds and morals and it is hoped that it will make it easier for children to understand the intent and purpose of the hadith and prayer material contained therein and persuade them to apply this knowledge in their daily lives.
