Abstract

The proliferation of professions in the field of Visual Communication Design (DKV) today presents an opportunity for teenagers aged 16-19 who are in the stage of career development. However, the majority of them lack knowledge about professions in the field of DKV due to their limited understanding of DKV itself. On the other hand, competing in the field of DKV is not easy and requires thorough preparation. The design of this educational campaign is based on the issues faced by teenagers aged 16-19 who need preparation to face their future, whether in terms of professions or education in the field of DKV. One of the preparations can be done through the provision of information. To obtain supporting data for this design, both qualitative and quantitative methods are employed. The qualitative method involves interviews with experts related to this design, focus group discussions (FGD), and observations conducted among the audience. Meanwhile, the quantitative method utilizes questionnaires targeting the intended audience segment. The results of this design indicate the need for information to be provided to teenagers regarding the field of DKV, which can be delivered through an educational campaign introducing professions in the field of DKV. This design also gives rise to the campaign name "Let's Embrace DKV!" The campaign message should be conveyed using concise, concise, and clear language, while the design implementation should align with the design concept. It is hoped that through this educational campaign, teenagers aged 16-19 who are interested in pursuing DKV as their education and profession in the future will receive education, information, and a platform to support their aspirations.
