Abstract
In raising chickens, one of the aspects that must be considered is the aspect of animal feed, where the main nutritional content is very important and must be considered. Optimal feed composition is needed to increase the weight of both broilers and laying hens. For broilers, the more they gain weight the more meat they produce, while for laying hens the more weight they gain, they will produce larger eggs. and with better quality. The Evolution Strategies method is used in this study because of its ability to find optimal solutions in complex and large search spaces. This research will involve several stages, including collecting relevant feed data, designing adequate feed composition structures, coding variables in individual populations, implementing the Evolution Strategies method, and evaluating optimization results. It is hoped that this research will contribute to the development of effective optimization methods in determining the optimal feed composition for laying and broiler hens. The results of this study can provide practical recommendations to chicken farmers in order to increase productivity and feed efficiency. In addition, this research can also be a basis for further research in the field of animal feed and the application of the Evolution Strategies method in other contexts involving parameter optimization. The ES parameters were determined with the following criteria for laying hens in the Starter period, it was found that the best ES was ES (miu/r+lambda) at population parameters 400, 80 offspring and 200 generations with fitness 0.176784, Layer, found the best ES was ES ( miu+lambda) on a population parameter of 300, 20 offspring and 200 generations with a fitness of 0.88778, Finisher, found that the best ES is ES (µ + λ) on a population parameter of 500, 50 offspring and 500 generations with a fitness of 0.2957899445, for broilers on Starter period, found that the best ES is ES (miu+lambda) on population parameters 400, offspring 60 and 300 generations with fitness 0.67462, Finisher, found the best ES is ES (miu+lambda) on population parameters 300, offspring 20 and generations 200 with a fitness of 0.88778.
