Abstract

This study aims to understand: (1) The effect of compensation on the performance of the employees of the Head Office of PT. Surabaya Industrial Estate Rungkut. (2) The effect of work motivation on the performance of the employees of PT. Surabaya Industrial Estate Rungkut. (3) The effect of work environment on the performance of the employees of PT. Surabaya Industrial Estate Rungkut. (4) The effect of compensation, work motivation, and work environment simultaneously on the performance of the employees of PT. Surabaya Industrial Estate Rungkut. This research method uses quantitative research methods categorized in survey research, with the research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The population in this study were employees of PT. Surabaya Industrial Estate Rungkut. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling, which is to take a sample of 130 respondents. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis which is processed using the SPSS 20 for windows program. Based on the results of the analysis show (1) Compensation has a significant effect on the performance of the employees of PT. Surabaya Industrial Estate Rungkut, calculated with a significance value of t  = 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) with a regression coefficient of 0.253 and tcount (4.036) > ttable (1.978). (2) Work motivation has a significant effect on the performance of the employees of PT. Surabaya Industrial Estate Rungkut, given a significance value of t  = 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) with a regression coefficient of 0.188 and tcount (3.766) > ttable (1.978). (3) The work environment has a significant effect on the performance of the employees of PT. Surabaya Industrial Estate Rungkut, calculated with a significance value of t  = 0,05 (0,021 < 0,05) with a regression coefficient of 0.141 and tcount (2.334) > ttable (1.978). (4) there is an effect of compensation, work motivation and work environment on the performance of the employees of PT. Surabaya Industrial Estate Rungkut with a significance value of f  = 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) and value of fcount (32.563)> ftabel (2.68) Keywords: compensation, work motivation, work environment, employee performance
