Abstract
This study aimed to determine (1) The influence work environment of the auditor on his career choice as an government auditor,(2) The influence of socio-cultural factors on his career choice as an government auditor, (3) The influence job market considerations on his career choice as an government auditor. Respondents of this research are Accounting Students Class of 2019 at the East Java "Veteran" National Development University, the population of 75 students. This type of research is quantitative research. The sampling technique in this study was simple random sampling using the slovin formula. This research method uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach and uses SmartPLS 4 software to process the data. The results showed that (1) The influence work environment of the auditor have no significant effect on his Career Choices as Government Auditors as indicated by t-statistics of 0.506 <1.96. (2) The influence of socio-cultural factors have a significant effect on his Career Choice as a Government Auditor as indicated by t-statistics of 3.345 > 1.96. (3) The influence job market considerations have a significant effect on career his choice as a government auditor as indicated by t-statistics of 4.366 > 1.96.
