Abstract
Motorcycles are one of the basic human needs for traveling activities. The existence of a motorbike is very helpful for humans in their daily activities, such as traveling to work, shopping, visiting relatives, or just walking around the city. A motorbike is also a must-have for workers such as online motorcycle taxis, meatball vendors, satay makers, etc. The motor can also be damaged if not considered its use. Based on these problems, in this study a spareparts damage diagnostic system was created on a motorbike that functions to be able to detect damage to the motor based on the symptoms experienced by the motor. In this study, the Dempster-Shafer method was used to determine the confidence value in the form of the percentage and name of the damage to the spareparts that were diagnosed. The resulting output is in the form of the name of the motor sparepart, the function of the sparepart, the percentage of the damage value, how to maintain it, and how to repair it. In this system, a minimum of 2 symptoms is entered so that the results are more efficient and accurate. The more symptoms that are selected, the percentage of the value of the damage decreases. This is because there are symptoms that have the same relationship with several spareparts, one example is that one symptom has several possible damage to spareparts and each symptom value for spareparts damage has a different value.
