Abstract
PT. PLN is a State-Owned Enterprise that provides electricity service needs, where the company must provide the best possible service to the applicant. However, the customer data processing process is still done manually where the customer service staff inputs the applicant's data using paper, which slows down data management and report generation. A new desktop-based electrical installation service application at PT PLN (Persero) PAMEKASAN AREA EAST JAVA PROVINCE was created using the system design modeling tools that the author uses are flowmaps, context diagrams, data flow diagrams (DFD), and data dictionaries while the tools used for basic design data is normalization, table relationships and entity relationship diagrams (ERD). The supporting software that the author uses is Microsoft Visual Basic 2005 and Microsoft SQL Server 2014. The application for a new desktop-based electricity installation service that is built is an expected solution so that it can facilitate the process of processing applicant data, there are no errors in calculating the cost of installing a new electricity and making it easier in making reports and avoiding delays in submitting reports and loss of data.
