Abstract
This research was conducted to find out the description of farmers' perceptions of ciherang rice farming and to analyze the feasibility of ciherang rice farming in Kedanyang Village, Kebomas District, Gresik Regency. The method used in determining farmer respondents is rice farmers in paddy fields in the 2023 planting season using the census method, because the population is small (limited), namely a total of 30 ciherang rice farmers. Data analysis uses the concept of farming revenue and farming income and uses income analysis and analysis of the R/C ratio (Return Ana Cost Ratio) to determine the feasibility of farming. The data used in the study were obtained from direct interviews with farmers. The results of this study indicate an average perception value of 3.81, which means that the perception of farmers towards ciherang rice farming in Kedanyang Village, Kebomas District, Gresik Regency is High. Productivity, Ease of selling, and Profits from selling high yields make farmers still have high perceptions. This is what makes farmers still maintain and operate their farms. The Ciherang Variety rice farming in Kedanyang Village, Kebomas District, Gresik Regency with an overall average of farmers with a land area of 1 Ha has an average income of Rp. 38,090,061.67 with a total cost of Rp. 7,048,400. For income analysis has an average of Rp. 31,041,661.67. and for the analysis of the efficiency of the R/C ratio, it is obtained 5.354 which is declared efficient and feasible because the value of the R/C ratio is more than 1 which is said to be feasible.
