Abstract
In today's contemporary era there have been many cultural shifts like there are the rise of childfree trends or the absence of children in a family. A number of the reasons are economic problems, fear in giving birth, fear in failed parenting, etc. Even though having children also has an impact such as maintaining mental health, physical health, reducing pressure and reduce the risk of breast cancer for women. It makes the need for a Maternity Hospital (RSIA) with the aim of becoming a container for health facilities that focus on dealing with maternal health problems and children as well as being a place of education for the community. Not even a good RSIA only assessed from medical services, but also focused on creation the atmosphere of space that meets the behavior of its users. That's why, the Behavioral Architecture approach is needed to analyze how a design can meet the character of behavior and psychologically affect the user. The used method is Behavior Setting by mapping behavior based on the basic needs of the user, space requirements and spatial relationships to streamline activities within maternity hospital without hindering or making it difficult for users to active in it. The results of the design of the maternity hospital is using of communal space as a gathering area for patients, using of materials transparent to supply the sun directly, using of interior colors bright in hospital rooms, and secondary skin with curved pattern that give dynamic looks.
