Abstract
Bali is known for its tourism potential where the development of the tourism industry in Bali is closely related to the development of the creative economy industry. Estimates by Bank Indonesia, the share of the creative economy sector in Bali's economy will increase from 13.8 percent in 2017 to 14.2 percent in 2020. The leading sectors of Bali's creative economy include craft crafts with 4,047 activists, culinary with 518 industry players, performing arts with 347 actors, and fashion with 149 creative industry activists. This creative industry sector has the potential to be developed by the Balinese government. The existence of space or forums for interaction between creative industry players in Bali is still small and more is needed. Creative industry players tend to operate individually without collaboration. The demand concept refers to the Creative Culture theme with a modern approach and a hybrid method. The design object is expected to reflect the characteristics of Balinese architecture which is packaged more contemporary and attractive so that users can feel more creative culture not only physically, but also spiritually. The existence of the Bali Creative Center is expected to be a facility that can accommodate Bali's leading creative industries as well as a creative image by combining the image of buildings in the surrounding environment in the form of Balinese architecture and also contemporary architecture so that it can be more attractive and encourage the pace of the creative economy in Bali.
