Abstract
Corona Virus or COVID-19 is a virus that attacks the human respiratory system that can be transmitted through the exchange of fluids and human physical contact. Thus affecting the economy and the development of ongoing business activities, one of which is the hotel business in Indonesia. Business activity is an activity that requires a relatively long time with the distance between business people who require business people to stay out of town. So with the pandemic situation, not a few business hotels are experiencing losses. To overcome these problems, it is necessary an innovation in the hotel business. Business Hotel is a place that can accommodate business people in conducting their business activities. However, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic requires that business hotels can adapt to the pandemic conditions and can create a new habit of a healthier life. The method used in this design is a pragmatic method. By using a contemporary architectural approach, one of which is the concept of open space, with the use of mostly glass walls, between rooms and corridors in buildings and optimal openings so as to give the impression of an open and not massive building in the pattern of the room, it is very suitable during the COVID-19 pandemic as it is now because it can minimize crowds in public spaces. The results of this study are expected to be a solution for the hospitality business to be adaptive to the phenomenon of the COVID-19 pandemic although it has not been able to meet all the needs of the COVID-19 pandemic, this hotel has prepared the main needs for the pandemic such as normal and pandemic zoning and access differentiation without changing the size of the space.
