Abstract
ABSTRACT This research was taken from relevant phenomena regarding accountability, transparency, community participation and village government performance. The purpose of this study is to prove and test the effect of accountability, transparency, and community participation on the performance of the village government in Widang District. The method used by researchers in this study is the quantitative method. The technique in this study uses a purposive sampling technique using certain criteria. The data used in this study were primary data and data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires which were later filled out by respondents or village officials who met the criteria forfilling out the questionnaire. The analysis technique in this study uses Partial Least Square (PLS) with WarpPLS 7.0 software. The Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis method consists of two model sub-chapters including the measurement model (outer model) and structural model (inner model). Based on the test results, it can be concluded that accountability has no effect on the performance of the village government in Widang District, transparency has a positive effect on the performance of the Village government in Widang District, community participation has a positive effect on the performance of the Village government in Widang District. The implication of this research is that village government performance can be carried out in accordance with the main principles of accountability, transparency, honesty, and community participation which plays a role in decision making so as to produce efficient and effective village government performance.
