Abstract
One form of the rail system in Indonesia is the Electric Rail Train (KRL). In Indonesia, KRL can currently be found in the Jabodetabek and Jogja-Solo regions. The existence of this transportation is widely used by commuters. Commuter is a term for people who travel to and from home regularly every day, between their place of residence and place of work in different districts/cities. One of the KRL stations in Kab. Bogor is the Cibinong KRL Station, which is located in the Pabuaran Village, Cibinong District. Cibinong District itself is the administrative center of Bogor Regency, and also the largest population contributor to Bogor Regency. As a station located in the city center, the existing facilities cannot be said to be proper, in terms of PT. KAI and also the standards in the Minister of Transportation Regulations. Judging from the existing background, it is necessary to develop the Cibinong KRL Station, so that it can adjust to the applicable standards. The development of the Cibinong KRL Station is also in line with the direction of the Bogor Regency Government in the 2016-2036 RTRW. In designing the Development of the Cibinong KRL Station, the theme is "Mobility". This theme is based on an analysis of facts, issues, and design objectives. Furthermore, in processing the design concept, the symbolic analogy method was chosen. This analogy is used to implement the theme of "mobility" into the design of the Cibinong KRL Station. In addition to the method used, this design also pays attention to the wayfinding architectural approach, bearing in mind its function as a transportation building and in accordance with the raised theme of "mobility".
