Abstract
This Field Work Practice aims to analyze the production system and maintenance of Belt Conveyors in the Maintenance Department I of PT. Petrokimia Gresik. Through field observations, interviews, and document analysis, this research demonstrates that the company has implemented an effective maintenance system, including preventive maintenance and routine repairs. The findings provide valuable insights into best practices in Belt Conveyor maintenance, such as regular maintenance schedules, the utilization of failure analysis based on damage data, and an efficient reporting system for faults. The recommendations generated include enhancing real-time condition monitoring, providing training for maintenance staff, and adopting cutting-edge technologies. This field work practice contributes to improving the performance and efficiency of the Belt Conveyor production and maintenance system at PT. Petrokimia Gresik.
