Abstract
PT. Wonojati Wijoyo Kediri is a company engaged in the furniture sector, such as tables, benches, cabinets, and so on. PT. Wonojati Wijoyo and is located in Kediri Regency, East Java. PT. Wonojati Wijoyo is selling products abroad, such as Virginia, the United States and Europe. One of the customers of PT. Wonojati Wijoyo is made to fulfill requests from furniture where the design, type and size are in accordance with the requests and wishes of the customer. The purpose of this field work practice is to find out the real furniture production system and understand the quality management system for TI 47 table furniture products. The results of the discussion were obtained where there were 3 identified defects, namely chips, cracks and holes. This defect is caused by 4 types of causes, namely method, machine, human and material. And suggestions for improvement in the form of repairing components that are damaged or defective, so that the product does not experience a decrease in the quality of goods and does not experience losses due to shortages of goods.
