Abstract
Purslane (Portulaca oleracea L.) is a type of wild plant that can be used as a medicinal plant. The nutritional content contained in purslane plants is very diverse, such as vitamins A, B1, C, antioxidants and omega-3 which can be used as a reason for purslane plants as cultivated plants. Plant cultivation requires appropriate fertilizer to add plant nutrition. The purpose of this study was to find out the best fertilizer for growth and yield in purslane plants. This research was conducted from October to December 2023 at the Agroclimatology Field of UPN "Veteran" East Java. This treatment consisted of factors, namely the type of fertilizer consisting of 5 treatments P0: without fertilizer (control), P1: cow manure, P2: goat manure, P3: chicken manure and P4: vermicompost fertilizer. The results of this study showed that the application of goat manure was able to increase the number of leaves, number of branches, crown diameter, fresh weight, dry weight, total chlorophyll and higher omega-3 content.
