Abstract

The cacao (Theobroma cacao l.) is one of plantation commodities that have important roles in improve the national economy, especially as the insurer of the employment opportunities, the state foreign exchange and a source of income. In addition, cocoa also play a role in encouraging regional development and the development of agroindustry. Of factors affect the production of cocoa in Indonesia has, that attack of illness. A disease a blight of leaves on the seeds of which are caused by Phytophthora palmivora is the main obstacle for in the production of seeds in the areas with high rainfall and especially in the Indonesia. A blight of disease leaves on the seeds of the leaves of the cocoa can cause dry up and death seeds especially one was 1 – 2 month. Control commonly used to control P. palmivora the use a fungicide synthetic who made a chemical compound. The use of a chemical compound synthetic unwise can cause any negative impact on environment. So is considered important control further testing on effective and not giving negative impact, the environment one by using biological agents as Trichoderma harzianum This study was conducted in January – July 2020 in the laboratory a disease and greenhouse or area a nursery, a garden experiment Kaliwining center for the study of coffee and cocoa Indonesia, Jember who are at an altitude of 45 mdpl. By the use of random design, a group (a shelf) by a factor of first is the density of the spores T. harzianum (T ) and the second factor which is long soaking (P). So that experiment consisted of 9 remedial treatments by 5. Every deuteronomy consisting of 5 of the seeds of plants. Among other things these T1P1 treatment, T1P2, T1P3, T2P1, T2P2, T2P3, T3P1, T3P2, T3P3. The result of this research shows that density T. harzianum spores' interaction with long immersion offered no real interaction with the attack of illness blight and growth. cacao seeds treatment density results markedly dissimilar to the treatment of disease in T2 (106 spores / ml) is 8,89 %, however not had have real impact on growth. cacao seeds treatment long immersion had real impact on number of leaves at the age of in treatment plant 8 mst P2 (soaking 2 hours) is flattened by 15,58 strands.
