Abstract

The development of information technology in the current era is very fast in its application and utilization so that it can develop widely in various fields, one of which is medicine. With the development of technology, people forget to maintain a healthy diet, so that some symptoms of stomach disease arise. Stomach disease is a digestive disorder caused by bad eating cycles, random food, and psychological problems. In order to make it easier for experts or doctors to diagnose gastric disease, an information technology is needed in the form of a system capable of detecting gastric disease. The system is an expert system. In this study using several algorithms used. These algorithms include Naïve Bayes, Certainty Factor, and Naïve Bayes-Certainty Factor. In addition, this study uses several classes of diseases, namely Ulcer, Gastric Acid, Stomach Ulcers, Stomach Infections, and Stomach Cancer and uses 23 attribute symptoms of gastric disease. From the results of this study, an accuracy rate of 90% was obtained for the Naïve Bayes algorithm, 97.5% for the Certainty Factor algorithm, and 90% for the Naïve Bayes-Certainty Factor algorithm.
