Abstract
The needs and potential of the village are the basis for establishing BUMDes as an effort to improve community welfare (PKDSP, 2007). Sayutri (Sayutri, 2011) argues that the existence of BUMDes is needed to mobilize village potential and can help in efforts to alleviate BUMDes, which is an institution formed by the village government and the community manages these institutions based on the needs and the village economy. Berbek is a village located in Waru sub-district, Sidoarjo regency. Berbek Village has its charm because of its location which is very close to Surabaya. Bumber is a Berbek Village Owned Enterprise that provides stationery and printing services. The problem is that the making of the Bumber logo is not designed based on considerations in making a good logo. So that the logo does not reflect the character/identity / business image of Bumber. The size of the stand is 3x4 meters so it is not easily seen by potential customers. The placement of identification is not well conceptualized, put it at random, and even on the shoulder of the highway which can endanger road users. Bumber still needs a lot of attractive promotional media to get lots of customers. From these problems, it is necessary to redesign the Bumber logo that can image Bumber and design promotions to increase the number of customers. To achieve this goal using the method of preparation stage and stage of creation. The preparation stage includes data collection (interview observation) and media determination. Then the creation stage includes pre-production (verbal concepts, visual concepts, media concepts), production (alternative designs, final designs, media execution), and post-production (media application).
