Abstract
The company's financial performance is a reflection of how well the company's management refers to the financial reports that have been published in a certain period. Financial Performance can provide an overview of the financial condition and achievements of the company. The aims of this study are to: 1) Analyze and determine the effect of asset structure on the profitability of Food & Beverage companies. 2) Analyze and determine the effect of leverage on the profitability of Food & Beverage companies. 3) Analyze and determine the effect of asset structure on the profitability of Food & Beverage companies through efficiency ratios. 4) Analyze and determine the influence of leverage on the profitability of Food & Beverage companies through efficiency ratios. This research is a quantitative research. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis with the path path. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from www.idx.co.id. The population in this study were 43 Food & Beverage companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. While the research sample was selected by purposive sampling technique in order to obtain 20 samples of Food & Beverage companies. The results of this study prove 1) asset structure can contribute to the profitability of Food & Beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. 2) Leverage can contribute to the profitability of Food & Beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 3) The efficiency ratio is not able to contribute to mediating asset structure on the profitability of Food & Beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. 4) The efficiency ratio is unable to contribute to mediating leverage on the profitability of Food & Beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
