Abstract
Surabaya Esports Arena has the meaning of being a place to hold electronic sports events that provide facilities to accommodate Esports enthusiasts and is located in the city of Surabaya. The development of Esports in the world is increasing rapidly along with advances in technology which are also increasingly sophisticated at this time, the many Esports tournaments that have sprung up around the world proves that Esports enthusiasts are increasing. However, in Indonesia there are still few facilities and infrastructure that accommodate these tournaments. Even in big cities, the place where Esports tournaments are held is usually only held in big city malls which are usually redecorated to suit the tournaments being held. Surabaya Esports Arena uses the theme "Good Game, Well Played" because they want to apply a building that can give joy like playing games so that Esports players or lovers can play well and maximize their performance. The design method for Surabaya Esports Arena is Intangible Methaphore, which departs from something abstract and invisible (shapeless). So I want to emphasize the concept of the idea of the design theme so that it can be applied in the shape and space of the Surabaya Esports Arena building. Surabaya Esports Arena aims to accommodate all activities related to Esports, especially a place to hold Esports competitions from student, regional, provincial, national to international levels. So that the Surabaya Esports Arena can accommodate Esports connoisseurs both in Surabaya and Indonesia and also the Surabaya Esports Arena can become an Esports icon in the City of Surabaya.
