Abstract
Liquid organic fertilizer is a fertilizer based on fermented animal or plant parts and the product is a liquid. The study uses liquid organic fertilizer from the bases of banana weevil, bamboo shoots, and banana peels. The study aims to learn which types of liquid organic fertilizer match and the right concentration for improving the growth and production of the red chili plant. The study was conducted in May – September 2022, at Made, Sambikerep district, Surabaya city, East Java. The design of experiments used in this study is a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial, consisting of 2 factors repeated 3 times, and each test contains 3 samples of plants, control treatment does not encroach on ANOVA. The first factor is a witch types of liquid organic fertilizer made up of banana weevil, bamboo shoots, and banana peels. The second factor is the giving concentration of 10%, 30%, and 50% concentration. The results from this study showed liquid organic fertilizer bamboo shoots + 30% concentration results best in total fruit (41,67 fruits), total fruit weight (239,07 grams) and fruit diameter (13,40 mm).
