Abstract

Sweet corn (Zea mays saccharataSturt.) is a horticultural crop that is in great demand and has an early harvest that benefits farmers. Efforts to increase the growth and yield of sweet corn plants is by providing fertilizer. Phonska NPK fertilizer is a balanced compound fertilizer that can increase production. The addition of organic matter is an alternative to overcome the negative impacts caused by the use of inorganic fertilizers. Petroganik is an organic fertilizer that is produced using raw materials such as manure and industrial waste. The research which aims to determine the correct dosage of Phonska and Petroganik NPK fertilizers on the growth and yield of sweet corn was carried out in Leran Village, Kalitidu District, Bojonegoro Regency from March to June 2020. The materials used were Talent varieties of sweet corn, Phonska NPK fertilizer (15:15:15) and Petroganik. The study was arranged using a two-factor Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 4 levels and 3 treatment levels, 3 replications, namely: Phonska NPK dose P1 = 250 kg/ha, P2 = 300 kg/ha, P3 = 350 kg/ha, P4 = 400 kg/ha and the dose of Petroganik G0 = 0kg/ha, G1 = 1000kg/ha and G2 = 2000 kg/ha. The results showed that there were significantly different interactions with the combination of NPK Phonska fertilizer doses of 400 kg/ha and Petroganik 1000 kg/ha on cob diameter without cobs. P4 = 400 kg/ha and Petroganik dosage G0 = 0kg/ha, G1 = 1000kg/ha and G2 = 2000 kg/ha. The results showed that there were significantly different interactions with the combination of NPK Phonska fertilizer doses of 400 kg/ha and Petroganik 1000 kg/ha on cob diameter without cobs.
