Abstract
Every region in Indonesia has a lot of amazing culture and arts. One of them is how to give thanks to God Almighty, in various ways. In the East Java area there are lots of thanksgiving events, one of which is in Bangkalan Regency, namely the Rokat Tase'. During the Rokat Tase ritual, the fishermen and residents bring a tumpeng which is equipped with a goat's head wrapped in cloth, side dishes and vegetables with flower decorations on the tumpeng. The tumpeng is filled by local residents after which the residents read a prayer which is combined by a kiai. After the tumpeng-making ceremony, the residents continued their activities by blowing (Elanyo' agih in Madurese) the tumpeng and goat's head with jasmine, ylang and cempaka flowers in the middle of the sea. The fishermen bring their families in their boats, and start accompanying the tumpeng drifting out to sea. Along with the changes in the digitalization era where technological developments have changed most of the patterns of people's lives, this has provided convenience and helped people's lives. In designing the Rokat Tase documentary video, it is necessary to prepare several strategies for disseminating the Rokat Tase documentary video to the audience. In this design using qualitative methods. This method uses 2 stages, namely interviews and field observations. The use of these 2 stages produces a concept with the keyword "Traditional Culture". As a means that aims to easily find traditional cultures in Bangkalan Regency. The Rokat Tase' culture in Bangkalan Regency is still a lot of people who don't know about this culture..
