Abstract
PT Petrokimia Gresik includes three production departments, namely Production Department I, Production Department II, Production Department III. Production Department I produces ammonia products of 1,105,000 tons/year. The process for making ammonia uses the Steam Methane Reforming process technology by MW Kellogg of America with raw materials in the form of natural gas, air and steam. The natural gas used by PT Petrokima Gresik comes from Kangean Island. Production Department I also produces urea fertilizer products with a capacity of 1,030,000 tons/year. The production process of urea uses Advanced Cost Energy Saving technology by TEC Japan with the main raw materials, namely liquid ammonia and carbon dioxide. Another fertilizer produced by the Production Department I is ZA fertilizer with a capacity of 440.00 tons/year. The production process used is a neutralization process with raw materials in the form of ammonia and liquid sulfuric acid. Meanwhile, Production Department II produces phosphate fertilizer with a capacity of 2,000,000 tons/year, phonska fertilizer with a capacity of 2,250,000 tons/year, NPK fertilizer with a capacity of 10,000 tons/year. Then Production Department III produces phosphoric acid with a capacity of 200,000 tons/year, sulfuric acid with a capacity of 550,000 tons/year, ZA fertilizer with a capacity of 250,000 tons/year and Aluminum Fluoride with a capacity of 12,600 tons/year
