Abstract
Sentra Ikan Bulak (SIB) is a facility provided by the Surabaya City Government to facilitate the marketing of marine processed products in Bulak District. However, the interest of traders to occupy SIB is still low, especially smoked fish sellers. This research aims to know the reason some smoked fish sellers still survive occupy in SIB and analyze the most dominant factors in the selection of business locations smoked fish sellers in around the Kenjeran Beach road. Data collection was done by observation, interview, documentation and analyzed by descriptive analysis and factor analysis. The results showed that the reason some smoked fish sellers still survive occupy in SIB is have a loyal customers, rent cost is free, complete facilities and obey with goverment regulations. There were 2 dominant factors in choosing a business location, namely: (1) Accessibility and facilities, (2) traffic. The most dominant factor in selection of business location for smoked fish sellers in around the Kenjeran Beach road is accessibility and facilities (47.416%).
