Abstract

The level of well-being in life is very influential on the level of health. People with low levels of well-being tend to underestimate diseases that are considered simple, but if left unchecked and not treated, they will become dangerous for the body. Several survey results state that the country of Indonesia has been ranked 6th with the largest number of diabetics in the world. People tend to realize when they have diabetes that is quite severe and experiences complications. In this study the authors chose to create a website-based diagnostic system with the output that users can find out the results of a diagnosis of whether they have diabetes or not by using the forward chaining method and K-medoids. The system to be created by the author uses the kmedoid method with clustering partitions to group a set of n objects into a number of k clusters. In addition, it was developed with an inference engine model, namely forward chaining to diagnose diabetes. To obtain the results of the diagnosis, the system will analyze the facts obtained from the input based on the roles stored in the system database.
