Abstract
Many human work factors contain a high potential for hazard when carrying out work in the workplace, so a preventive measure is needed to prevent accidents and illnesses due to inappropriate work postures. Poor working posture (risk of injury) can cause injury to muscles, bones, limbs, maybe even the whole body. In this study, the research subject was a car mechanic who was carrying out activities such as installing wheels, checking rack steer, changing engine oil and checking understeel. considered very high and and requires immediate repair to minimize the risk of injury. Based on the reassessment using the same method and the application of Ergofellow 3.0 with different working postures and the proposed simple aircraft assistive devices, the activities carried out by mechanics are activities with a lower level of risk from the start, for wheel installation the score is 11 to 5, rack inspection steer initial score 9 becomes 6, engine oil change initial score 9 becomes 6, understeel inspection initial score 9 becomes 6 in other words that the proposed work posture and assistive devices used are effective in reducing the risk of worker injury.
