Abstract

PT. PG Candi Baru is a sugar factory in Indonesia which produces Superior Hooft Suiker IA (SHS IA) white crystal sugar (GKP) as its main product. The by-products of the process are in the form of drops and dregs which are used as raw materials for making monosodium glutamate (MSG), liquid fertilizer, candy, and boiler materials and paper.
