Abstract

PT. PG Candi Baru is one of the sugar factories in Indonesia that produces white crystal sugar (GKP) type Superior Hooft Suiker IA (SHS IA) as its main product. The by-products of the process in the form of drops and pulp used as a raw material for the manufacture of monosudium glutammate (MSG),liquid fertilizers, sweets, and boiler materials and paper. The location of PT PG Candi Baru is located in the village of Bligo, Candi District,Sidoarjo Regency, East Java Province, precisely on Jalan Raya Surabaya –Malang km 26 from Surabaya and 3 Km from Sidoarjo towards the South with height 4 m above sea level. White crystal sugar or SHS type sugar (Superior Hoofd Suiker) is a product main generated in PG. Candi Baru goes through the following stages :P Preparation Process, Milling Station, Boiler Station, Purification Station, Evaporation Station, Cooking Station, Spinning and Finishing Station
