Abstract

Fishery products are products that have the potential to be utilized because of their high nutritional content, especially protein. Tuna (Thunnus sp) is a source of healthy food for the community, one of which is a source of animal protein which contains omega-3 and a high enough protein of 20% needed by the body, high nutritional content causes fish to easily get damaged if not Proper handling is carried out before processing fish. Processing in cans is one method to increase the shelf life of fish in addition to increasing the economic value of fish. PT. Aneka Tuna Indonesia is a company producing the best tuna products that produces superior products, both nationally and internationally. Every product produced by PT. Various Indonesian Tuna are of high quality and have high attractiveness and competitiveness. This is the background for PT. Aneka Tuna Indonesia was chosen as the place for the Field Work Practice.
