Abstract
PT. Pabrik Gula Candi Baru is a state-owned company in Indonesia which produces sugar. PT. Pabrik Gula Candi Baru produces IA Superior Hooft Suiker (SHS) granulated sugar using sugarcane as sugar the raw material. To produce high quality sugar products is necessary supported by the quality of the raw material, namely sugarcane. When sugarcane is used high quality, the sugar produced will also be of high quality as well supported by a high quality production process as well. Relating to field work practice which is an activity mandatory for students of the East Java UPN "Veteran" Industrial Engineering study program in the selection of PT. Candi Baru Sugar Factory as a place for practice field work is perfect because the company is a company manufacturing industry. The manufacturing company itself is a company on industrial sector that applies machinery, equipment, and labor as well perform a process to convert raw goods into finished goods or semi-finished goods that will be sold later. Therefore this process is very suitable for students majoring in industrial engineering because they can apply directly about the manufacturing company as well as on the equipment maintenance system production used at PT. Pabrik Gula Candi Baru.
